At the beginning of last century, Emilio Diotti and his son Paolo decided to stop working in the fields and started using their expertise in carving wood to manufacture furniture.

In the 1911
the first "bottega" was born, where wooden chairs is the main product line. In following years Paolo, with the help of his son Enrico, widens the range of manufactured products to encompass every kind of room. Work is moved to a bigger laboratory, giving room for different machines to allow a complete process from raw material to finished products: items were appreciated both for versatility and their quality-price ratio.

In 1954
(the same year of the first paved road in town) Enrico Diotti moves everything into a new building, near the first "home-laboratory", where a bigger manufacturing area and warehouse are set; more important, a show-room becomes available to exhibit furniture where benefits of artisanal customization and industrial cost reduction are joined.

In 1967
Enrico and his wife Piera, with help from their sons Fiorino and Adelio, realize business is changing: they needed a bigger show-room. In 1968 they built the first part of our present complex opening to the public a 1.600 square meters shop; at the end of the '70s square meters are raised to 3.000.

In 1990
Diotti brothers decide to further enlarge our shop up to 4.000 square meters, to improve logistic infrastructures and to re-design the exterior of the building introducing, among the rest, the company colors: green, yellow and grey; these colors are now found in every visual communication by DIOTTI A&F. During these changes Fiorino decides to retire: Adelio becomes the "Ceo".

in the '90s
we witnessed a relevant competitive growth thanks to the heart filling fidelity of generations of satisfied customers remembering services by a company really tied to customers' wishes and needs.
During the first years of the 21st century, growth, notwithstanding negative trends of the market, constantly continues thanks to an evergrowing care of selection, store design concepts, services and information to costumers.

In 2003
works start for a new multifunctional building connected to
the main one. We now have access to a new 600 square meters warehouse
with 3 indipendent loading platforms to allow us to further improve
installation and services to costumers: the new warehouse has been
active since 2006.
A longer wait is needed for the biggest lot of the new building: we're
planning a new 1.000 square meters show-room and with this additional
space we'll be able to implement a big "project" we now can't share
with you...it'll will be another "corner stone" to create an offer we
think should be complete and "home system" oriented.
Now at the beginning of 2008 we're planning new exciting projects
which will come into life in the next few months and we won't forget
to let you know about: our company has always taken one step at a time
and now as well we keep faithful to the old saying "who goes slowly
goes far and safely".
